Raspberry Pi

Raspberry Pi is a family of low-cost, credit-card-sized single-board computers developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation for education, programming, and general-purpose computing.

Single-board computer: A complete computer built on one circuit board, integrating its processor, memory, and interfaces. Raspberry Pi boards are a prominent low-cost example of this compact computer form.
Raspberry Pi OS: A Debian-based operating system maintained for Raspberry Pi computers. It supplies the desktop, tools, and hardware support commonly used on Raspberry Pi.
Physical computing: Computing that connects software with physical inputs, outputs, and devices. Raspberry Pi projects often use code to sense or control the physical world.

BeagleBoard: A family of open-hardware single-board computers developed for embedded computing and education. BeagleBoard offers a related single-board-computer approach with different hardware and ecosystem choices.
