Revillagigedo Islands

The Revillagigedo Islands are a remote Mexican volcanic archipelago in the Pacific Ocean, protected with surrounding waters as a biosphere reserve and national park.

Socorro Island: The largest and highest island in the Revillagigedo Archipelago, formed by an active shield volcano. Its volcano dominates the archipelago’s largest island and supports distinctive terrestrial life.
