Richard Aldington

Richard Aldington (1892–1962) was an English poet, novelist, and biographer associated with Imagism. His works include the First World War novel Death of a Hero and the biography Lawrence of Arabia: A Biographical Enquiry.

Imagism: A modernist poetry movement that favored precise imagery, economy of language, and free verse. Aldington helped establish this movement and published some of its best-known early poems.
