Robert H. Grubbs

Robert H. Grubbs was an American chemist who shared the 2005 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for developing metathesis methods in organic synthesis.

Yves Chauvin: A French chemist who explained the mechanism of olefin metathesis and shared the 2005 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Chauvin supplied the mechanistic framework that Grubbs’s catalyst research helped make practical.
