Robert Kahn

Robert Kahn is an American engineer who co-designed the Transmission Control Protocol and Internet Protocol and developed the concept of open network architecture.

Vint Cerf: Vint Cerf is an American computer scientist who co-designed TCP/IP with Robert Kahn. Cerf collaborated with Kahn to develop the protocols that joined diverse networks.
Internet protocol suite: The Internet protocol suite is a layered set of communication protocols used to interconnect computer networks. TCP/IP became the protocol suite at the heart of Kahn’s open architecture.

Jon Postel: Jon Postel was an American computer scientist who coordinated key Internet standards and technical assignments. Postel helped turn protocol ideas associated with Kahn into shared Internet standards.
Internet Protocol: Internet Protocol carries datagrams between networked hosts using addressing and routing. IP provides the internetwork layer that lets Kahn’s architecture span separate networks.
