Robert Mueller

Robert Mueller is an American lawyer who directed the FBI from 2001 to 2013 and served as special counsel investigating Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election.

Mueller special counsel investigation: A federal investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election and related matters, led by Robert Mueller from 2017 to 2019. This investigation was Mueller’s most prominent assignment after leaving the FBI.
