Robert Robinson

Robert Robinson (1886–1975) was a British organic chemist whose structural studies and syntheses of plant alkaloids helped shape modern organic chemistry. He received the 1947 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.

Arthur Lapworth: Arthur Lapworth (1872–194 lapworth) was a British chemist known for research on reaction mechanisms and natural products. Lapworth influenced Robinson’s chemical education and later collaborated with him on organic chemistry.
