Robin Hood

Robin Hood is a legendary English outlaw, commonly portrayed as robbing the wealthy to aid the poor and hiding in Sherwood Forest.

A Gest of Robyn Hode: A fifteenth-century English ballad collection recounting Robin Hood’s adventures and ideals. Its episodes helped establish the outlaw’s generosity, loyalty, and conflict with authority.
