Roddy McDowall

Roddy McDowall (1928–1998) was an English-American actor, voice artist, and photographer whose career spanned more than six decades. He is especially known for playing Cornelius and Caesar in the Planet of the Apes films.

Cornelius (Planet of the Apes): A chimpanzee archaeologist in the original Planet of the Apes films, played by Roddy McDowall. McDowall originated this role in Planet of the Apes and Escape from the Planet of the Apes.
Elizabeth Taylor: An English-American actor and film star whose screen career began as a child. Taylor and McDowall appeared together in Lassie Come Home, one of his early films.
