Roger Guillemin

Roger Guillemin was a French-American physiologist who shared the 1977 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for discoveries about peptide hormones produced in the brain.

Andrew V. Schally: Andrew V. Schally was an endocrinologist who shared the 1977 Nobel Prize for discoveries about peptide hormone production in the brain. Schally’s competing laboratory raced Guillemin’s to isolate hypothalamic releasing hormones.
