Romulus Augustulus

Romulus Augustulus was the last emperor of the Western Roman Empire, ruling from 475 until Odoacer deposed him in 476 CE. His deposition conventionally marks the empire’s end, though imperial authority continued in the East.

Orestes: A Roman general who seized power in Italy and installed his son Romulus as emperor in 475. Romulus’s father made him emperor after driving Julius Nepos from Italy.
