Roy Chapman Andrews

Roy Chapman Andrews (1884–1960) was an American naturalist and explorer who led American Museum of Natural History expeditions to Mongolia and China, helping uncover major Cretaceous fossil deposits.

Central Asiatic Expeditions: A series of American Museum of Natural History expeditions to Central Asia, led by Andrews from 1922 to 1930. These were the expeditions through which Andrews became known for fossil exploration.
