Sam Mendes

Sam Mendes is an English theatre and film director and producer whose work includes American Beauty, Skyfall, 1917, and award-winning stage productions.

American Beauty: A 1999 drama film directed by Sam Mendes about a suburban man’s midlife crisis. Its success established Mendes as a major film director and earned him the Academy Award for Best Director.
