Knowra Samguk sagi Samguk sagi A Korean historical chronicle completed in 1145 under the supervision of Kim Busik. Its 50 books record the histories of Goguryeo, Baekje, and Silla, with particular attention to Silla.
Three Kingdoms of Korea : The period and competing states of Goguryeo, Baekje, and Silla in ancient Korean history. These are the three kingdoms whose histories form the chronicle’s central subject.
Annals : Chronological records of rulers’ reigns and major events, often arranged year by year. The chronicle’s first section records the rulers and events of the three kingdoms.

Goguryeo : An ancient Korean kingdom that ruled territories across the northern Korean Peninsula and Manchuria. Its annals are one of the chronicle’s three principal historical accounts.
Monographs : Topical historical sections devoted to institutions, rituals, calendars, or other subjects. The chronicle separates selected institutions and cultural topics from its annals.
