Samson Raphael Hirsch

Samson Raphael Hirsch (1808–1888) was a German Orthodox rabbi, biblical commentator, and leader of modern Orthodox Judaism. His Torah im Derech Eretz approach joined strict commitment to Jewish law with engagement in general education and society.
