Knowra Samudragupta Samudragupta Samudragupta was a fourth-century Gupta emperor whose military campaigns extended Gupta power across much of the Indian subcontinent. His reign is documented chiefly by the Allahabad Pillar inscription.
Chandragupta I : A Gupta ruler whose reign in the early fourth century helped establish the dynasty’s imperial power. His succession by Samudragupta marks the transition from Gupta beginnings to major expansion.
