SECAM

SECAM is an analog color television system that transmits color-difference signals sequentially, alternating them between scan lines and using a delay line to recover color.

Frequency modulation: Frequency modulation encodes information by varying a carrier wave’s instantaneous frequency. SECAM frequency-modulates its color-difference signals to transmit chrominance.
PAL: PAL is an analog color television system that reverses the phase of one color-difference signal on alternate lines. PAL transmits both color-difference signals on each line, unlike SECAM’s alternation.
