Second Anglo-Burmese War

The 1852 conflict between Britain and the Burmese Empire ended with Britain annexing Lower Burma, beginning the conquest of Burma.

First Anglo-Burmese War: The 1824–1826 war between Britain and the Burmese Empire ended with Burmese territorial concessions and a costly British victory. Its outcome weakened Burma and established the earlier Anglo-Burmese conflict behind the 1852 war.
