Seku Amadu

Seku Amadu was a Fulani Muslim reformer and political leader who founded the Massina Empire in the Inner Niger Delta in the nineteenth century.

Fulani: The Fulani are a widely dispersed West African people with diverse pastoral, agricultural, and urban communities. Seku Amadu emerged from Fulani society in the Niger Inland Delta.
Massina Empire: The Massina Empire was a nineteenth-century Islamic state in the Inner Niger Delta, founded by Seku Amadu. It was the state he established and ruled from Hamdullahi.
