Sensō-ji

Sensō-ji is a Buddhist temple in Asakusa, Tokyo, dedicated to Kannon and traditionally regarded as Tokyo’s oldest temple.

Kannon: Kannon is the bodhisattva of compassion, widely venerated in East Asian Buddhism. Sensō-ji’s principal devotion centers on an image of Kannon said to have been found in the Sumida River.
