Sex organ

A reproductive organ that produces gametes, enables their transfer, or supports fertilization. Sex organs include gonads and reproductive structures in animals and plants.

Gonad: An organ that produces gametes and, in many animals, secretes sex hormones. Gonads are the principal sex organs that produce eggs or sperm.
