Shared taxi

A passenger vehicle carries unrelated travelers together, usually along a shared route or with fares divided among passengers. It combines features of private hire and public transit.

Demand-responsive transport: Public or shared transportation whose routes or schedules adapt to passenger requests. Shared taxis often adjust pickups or routes in response to who needs a ride.
Collective taxi: A taxi service that carries unrelated passengers together, commonly along a fixed or semi-fixed route. This established form of shared taxi commonly serves corridors with steady demand.
