Sharon Tate
Sharon Tate (1943–1969) was an American actress and model whose films included Valley of the Dolls. Members of the Manson Family murdered her in 1969.
Valley of the Dolls: A 1967 drama film about three women navigating fame, relationships, and addiction. Tate played Jennifer North in this adaptation, her best-known starring role.
Roman Polanski: A Polish-French film director whose films include Rosemary's Baby and Chinatown. Polanski was Tate’s husband and directed her in The Fearless Vampire Killers.
Dallas, Texas: A major city in northern Texas, United States. Tate was born in Dallas in 1943.
Tate–LaBianca murders: A series of murders committed by Manson Family members in Los Angeles in August 1969. Tate’s murder was part of the wider series that became known by this name.
The Fearless Vampire Killers: A 1967 horror comedy directed by Roman Polanski, set in a fictional Transylvanian village. Tate starred as Sarah Shagal, a role that brought her together with Polanski.
Jay Sebring: An American hairstylist known for shaping modern men’s hairstyling and serving celebrity clients. Sebring was Tate’s former partner and one of the people murdered at her home.
