Shemini Atzeret

Shemini Atzeret is a Jewish festival observed on the eighth day after Sukkot. It marks a distinct sacred assembly and the close of the autumn pilgrimage season.

Sukkot: A Jewish pilgrimage festival commemorating the wilderness journey and celebrating the autumn harvest. Shemini Atzeret immediately follows Sukkot but is treated as a separate festival.
