Shinty

Shinty is a Scottish team sport in which players use curved sticks, called camáns, to strike a small ball into the opposing goal. It is played outdoors, usually on grass.

Camán: A curved wooden stick used to strike the ball in shinty. Its shape and permitted use define how players control and hit the ball.
