Sidney Sheldon

Sidney Sheldon (1917–2007) was an American novelist, playwright, and screenwriter whose work included bestselling suspense novels and the television sitcom I Dream of Jeannie.

The Other Side of Midnight: Sidney Sheldon’s 1973 suspense novel follows a French actress and an American pilot through ambition, betrayal, and revenge. This bestselling novel established the high-stakes romantic suspense associated with Sheldon’s fiction.
