Sigur Rós

Sigur Rós is an Icelandic post-rock band formed in Reykjavík in 1994. Its atmospheric arrangements and Jónsi’s falsetto singing define a sound that often uses bowed guitar and the invented vocal language Vonlenska.

Orri Páll Dýrason: Orri Páll Dýrason is an Icelandic drummer who played with Sigur Rós from 1999 to 2018. His percussion shaped the band’s rhythmic sound across much of its career.
