Sixth Dynasty of Egypt

The Sixth Dynasty was the final dynasty of Egypt’s Old Kingdom, conventionally dated to about 2345–2181 BCE. Its reigns saw expanding provincial power and the political fragmentation associated with the Old Kingdom’s end.
