Skanderbeg

Skanderbeg was the name of Gjergj Kastrioti, a 15th-century Albanian nobleman and military commander who led a long resistance against Ottoman rule.

League of Lezhë: A 1444 alliance of Albanian nobles formed to resist Ottoman expansion under Skanderbeg’s leadership. It coordinated the nobles and forces that made his resistance possible.
