Ski jumping

Ski jumping is a winter sport in which athletes descend a ramp, take off from a jump, and fly toward a landing hill. Judges score distance and technique.

Inrun: The prepared track down which a ski jumper accelerates before takeoff. Its slope and surface set the speed available at the jump’s edge.
