Slide guitar

Slide guitar is a guitar-playing technique in which a hard, smooth object moves along the strings to create continuous pitch changes and vocal-like tones.

Guitar slide: A hard, smooth object placed against guitar strings to change their sounding length and pitch. Its material, shape, and contact with the strings determine the technique’s intonation and tone.
