Socialist Party of America

The Socialist Party of America was a U.S. political party founded in 1901 that pursued democratic socialism through elections, labor organizing, and public education.

Socialist Labor Party of America: A U.S. socialist party founded in 1876 that emphasized Marxist politics and industrial unionism. The party split from this older organization before the two groups helped form the SPA.
