Socinianism

Socinianism was a sixteenth-century Christian movement associated with Fausto Sozzini and the Polish Brethren. It rejected the Trinity and affirmed that God is one person.

Fausto Sozzini: An Italian-born theologian whose ideas shaped Socinianism among the Polish Brethren. His writings gave the movement its mature theological direction.
Christology: The branch of Christian theology concerned with the identity and work of Jesus Christ. Socinian disputes about Christ’s nature were central to the movement’s theology.
