Sodium perchlorate

Sodium perchlorate is an inorganic salt of sodium cations and perchlorate anions, commonly encountered as a highly soluble oxidizer and chemical reagent.

Perchlorate: Perchlorate is the polyatomic anion ClO₄⁻, in which chlorine is bonded to four oxygen atoms. This anion gives sodium perchlorate its oxidizing chemistry and defines its ionic identity.
