Sognefjord

Sognefjord is a deep, long fjord in Vestland, western Norway, extending inland from the Norwegian Sea. Steep mountains and smaller fjord arms shape its coastline.

Fjord: A long, narrow sea inlet carved by glacial erosion and bordered by steep land. Sognefjord is one of Norway’s largest examples of this landform.
