Solomon

Solomon is a king of ancient Israel in the Hebrew Bible, traditionally famed for his wisdom and for building the First Temple in Jerusalem.

Judgment of Solomon: A biblical story in which Solomon resolves a dispute between two women claiming the same infant. This episode gives the clearest narrative example of Solomon’s celebrated wisdom.
