Somapura Mahavihara

Somapura Mahavihara is an eighth-century Buddhist monastery at Paharpur, Bangladesh, built under the Pala dynasty. Its monumental cruciform shrine and surrounding monastic cells make it a major archaeological site and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
