A large-scale audio setup designed for powerful, high-volume playback, often emphasizing strong bass. It typically combines sound sources, signal processing, amplification, and loudspeakers.

Loudspeaker: An electroacoustic transducer that converts electrical signals into sound waves. Loudspeakers turn the system’s amplified signal into audible sound.
Frequency response: The variation in a system’s output level across different frequencies. It reveals whether a system reproduces bass, midrange, and treble evenly.
