South West Ethiopia Peoples' Region

A regional state in southwestern Ethiopia, established in 2021 after separating from the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region.

Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region: A former Ethiopian regional state in the south, dissolved into several successor regions and the South Ethiopia Regional State. The South West region was carved from this former state.
