Spanish architecture

Spanish architecture comprises the buildings and design traditions of Spain, shaped by regional cultures and successive Roman, Islamic, Christian, and European influences.

Roman architecture in Hispania: The buildings and infrastructure created under Roman rule in the Iberian Peninsula. Roman engineering and urban forms supplied foundations for later Spanish building traditions.
