Stefan Nemanja

Stefan Nemanja was a 12th-century Serbian grand prince who established the Nemanjić dynasty and later became the Orthodox monk and saint Simeon.

Rascia: A medieval Serbian principality centered on the region around Ras, in the western Balkans. Nemanja consolidated power in this principality before extending his rule.
