Stud poker

Stud poker is a family of poker games in which players receive individual face-up and face-down cards, with no shared community cards.

Seven-card stud: A stud poker variant in which players receive seven cards, three face down and four face up. Its sequence of private and exposed cards is the best-known stud format.
Texas hold 'em: A poker variant in which players combine private hole cards with five shared community cards. Unlike stud, it gives all players access to the same community cards.
Poker: A family of card games in which players wager on the strength of their hands or on opponents folding. Stud is one major family within poker.
Seven-card stud strategy: Strategic play in seven-card stud, including hand selection, observation, and betting decisions. It applies stud’s exposed-card information to practical decisions.
