Suez Governorate

An administrative governorate in northeastern Egypt, centered on the city of Suez and extending along the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea.

Suez: An Egyptian port city at the southern entrance of the Suez Canal. The governorate takes its name and administrative center from this port city.
Port of Suez: An Egyptian port at the southern end of the Suez Canal. It is the governorate’s principal maritime gateway and serves canal-linked shipping.
