Sukhumi

Sukhumi is a port city on the Black Sea and the capital of Abkhazia, a disputed region on Georgia’s western coast.

Dioscurias: An ancient Greek colony on the Black Sea coast at the site of modern Sukhumi. The settlement’s ancient name anchors Sukhumi’s long urban history.
