Sultanate of Hobyo

A Somali sultanate founded by Yusuf Ali Kenadid in the late 19th century, centered on the coastal town of Hobyo in present-day Somalia.

Yusuf Ali Kenadid: A Somali ruler who founded the Sultanate of Hobyo in the late 19th century. He established the sultanate after breaking with the Majeerteen Sultanate.
