Tex Avery

Tex Avery was an American animator and film director whose Warner Bros. and MGM cartoons helped define fast-paced, irreverent theatrical animation.

Warner Bros. Cartoons: Warner Bros.’ animation unit produced theatrical cartoon shorts from the 1930s through the 1960s. Avery directed influential shorts there, developing the rapid timing and comic freedom associated with his work.
