Thorianite

Thorianite is a rare, radioactive oxide mineral composed chiefly of thorium dioxide. Uranium and other elements commonly substitute for thorium in its crystal structure.

Thorium dioxide: Thorium dioxide is a refractory inorganic compound with formula ThO₂ and the principal constituent of thorianite. Thorianite is the naturally occurring mineral form of this compound.
