Tigrinya

Tigrinya is a Semitic language spoken chiefly in Eritrea and northern Ethiopia. It is written in the Geʽez script.

Geʽez script: An abugida used to write several languages of Ethiopia and Eritrea. Tigrinya uses this script, whose characters represent consonant-vowel syllables.
Eritrea: A country in the Horn of Africa on the Red Sea. Eritrea is a principal country where Tigrinya is spoken and an official working language.
