Tiltrotor

A tiltrotor is an aircraft whose rotors pivot between vertical and horizontal orientations, providing vertical lift for takeoff and landing and forward thrust in flight.

Nacelle: An aircraft housing that contains an engine or other equipment, often including propulsion components. Tiltrotors mount pivoting rotors and engines in nacelles that change orientation during conversion.
Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey: A military tiltrotor aircraft developed jointly by Bell Helicopter and Boeing. It uses tiltrotor capability for military transport and shipboard operations.
Helicopter: A rotorcraft whose powered rotor provides lift and propulsion in flight. A helicopter hovers efficiently but generally cruises more slowly than a tiltrotor.
