Timor Sea

The Timor Sea is a sea in the eastern Indian Ocean between Timor and northern Australia, bordered by Indonesia and Timor-Leste.

Timor: An island in maritime Southeast Asia divided between Timor-Leste and Indonesia. The island forms the sea’s northern boundary.
Timor Sea oil and gas fields: Offshore petroleum deposits and production areas in the Timor Sea. These fields make the sea a major source of revenue for nearby states.
